On Thursday, May 7, a student delegation from the University of Texas at Austin visited the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Dr. Ji-Hyang Jang and Dr. Peter K. Lee delivered lectures respectively on “The Korea Model as a Reform Aspiration for the Middle East” and “Comparing U.S. Alliances in a Multipolar Indo-Pacific.” During the Q&A session, Asan fellows and the delegation discussed various issues, including the ROK-U.S. alliance, developments in the Middle East, defense and shipbuilding industries, and Indo-Pacific security cooperation.
