On Monday November 24 2025, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies invited Mr. Sydney A. Seiler, Senior Advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), to deliver a special lecture entitled ‘DPRK Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Program Threat’. During the lecture, Mr. Seiler explained DPRK’s nuclear and WMD programs, the lessons learned from engagement with the DPRK, and its relations with China and Russia. During the Q&A session, Mr. Seiler and the audience discussed ROK-U.S. extended deterrence cooperation and Taiwan issues.
