On February 28, 2025, a delegation from the Bar-Ilan University in Israel, headed by Dr. Alon Levkowitz, Chair and Senior Lecturer of the Multidisciplinary Department in Humanities and Asian Studies Program and Prof. Eitan Shamir, Head of the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA Center) at Bar-Ilan University, visited the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. The delegation engaged in a roundtable conversation with in-house experts, addressing a range of subjects such as the situation in the Middle East, shifting dynamics in the Middle East since the Israel-Hamas War, and South Korea-Middle East cooperation.
