051ce406d68d666f76d08b3c4bcfceef_1752546567_9103.jpgThomas Wright is a fellow with the Project on International Order and Strategy at the Brookings Institution. He focuses on U.S. grand strategy, alliances, the international order and emerging powers, and multilateralism. He is currently working on a book about geopolitical competition in an age of global interdependence. Previously, he was executive director of studies at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, a lecturer at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and senior researcher for the Princeton Project on National Security. Wright has a PhD in government from Georgetown University, an M Phil in international studies from Cambridge University, and a BA and MA from University College Dublin. He has also held a pre-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and a post doctoral fellowship at Princeton University. His writings have appeared in the American Political Science Review, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Orbis, Survival, The Washington Quarterly, the Financial Times, the International Herald Tribune, the Washington Post, and elsewhere.
