Professor Kim Sung-han is a Professor Emeritus at Korea University’s Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), where he previously served as a professor until his retirement. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute for Economic and Technological Security (IETS). His distinguished career in public service includes serving as the National Security Advisor to the President (2022–2023) and as the Second Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2012–2013). As of April 1, 2026, he has begun his tenure as an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies.
